Nick East
For many years Nick worked as a museum and exhibition designer on exciting projects including London Science Museum and the Eureka Museum for Children. This experience inspired him to specialise in designing and storytelling for children. Combined with his love of drawing and illustrating, children's books just made sense.
In this short period of time as an illustrator Nick has been shortlisted for the English Picture Book awards, longlisted for The Evening Standard’s Oscar’s First Book Prize. As well as illustrating the wonderful 'Knock Knock' series with Caryl - Nick has collaborated with author Michelle Robinson, Puffin and astronaut Tim Peake on the best selling 'Goodnight Spaceman'. He recently drew pictures for Dermot O'leary's first children's book 'Toto the Ninja cat'. And is currently writing and illustrating his own young fiction series for Hodder Children's Books.
