BookTrust Storytime Prize Shortlist for The Jellyfish Jiggle!
The Jellyfish Jiggle has been selected as one of the five shortlisted titles for the 2026 BookTrust Storytime Prize!!
How incredible is that?? I’m so excited and delighted that our book has been chosen out of thousands of potential titles. Here’s the shortlist:
The Jellyfish Jiggle by Caryl Hart and Nicola Slater
Five Enormous Dinosaurs by Annie Kubler and Sarah Dellow
Superwolf by Helen Docherty and Thomas Docherty
Suki Cat Astronaut by Grace Habib
Tiger it’s Snowing by Daishu Ma
Shortlisted titles form part of BookTrust Storytime, which features story time sessions run in collaboration with libraries around the country. These aim to support disadvantaged families with children aged 0-5 years old, who need more help to make shared reading a regular part of their lives.
Families vote for their favourite title and the winners will be announced in Spring 2026.

Most awards bring fantastic acclaim and great publicity for books, but the BookTrust Storytime Prize also includes a cash prize, so I’m crossing all my fingers and toes that we win - I could do with a new wheelbarrow for my allotment!
