I Don’t Just Write Books!

A big part of what I do as an author is writing books!

But it’s not ALL I do!

Every year, for the past six years, I’ve been creating picture books with families as part of the Storymakers Project, run by Tameside Libraries. To date we’ve created eight books are I’m currently working on book 9 with illustrator Andy Rowland. The project is funded by The Arts Council and Tameside Community Safety, and is doing all sorts of great stuff for Tameside families.

In 2021/22 I was Author in Residence for Inspire Culture, Nottinghamshire’s Library Services. We worked with children at Jesse Grey School and with families to create poems and stories about wildlife in four different habitats.
